My little brother wanted me to crop his face out for this one unfortunately. But anyway-there's a story behind this one. I walked into my pottery class one day and the teacher that taught the class before was still in there. She saw my rainbow scarf I was wearing that I made and asked me if I could make a rainbow scarf with a paint palette. I probably could never replicate this ever again. I just literally played it all by ear and came up with this! Let me know what you think :)

I love this scarf! I was thinking of making one for my good painter friend. I'm new to the whole world of crochet and I don't totally know the looks of all the stitch. Do you remember how you did the paint brush? Like do you remember the type of stitch you used?

P.s. I'm not doing a palette, but instead I'm doing a bucket with paint coming out..... And I read the comments.....

oh thank you!!!! yeah go ahead make one yourself :) unfortunately I didnt really follow a pattern and just made it up on the spot. the paint brush was pretty easy but the paint palette was a little difficult. I started out making a circle and then i kept increasing stitches. like i did 5sc, 5 half double crochet, 5 double crochet, 5 triple crochet. (at least I THINK thats how i did it...i made this like 2 months ago and im now finally adding the picture)

I do that all the time, I never really use patterns, unless I want to make something specific... but when I want to make something over again, it takes me forever to try and figure out what I did in the first place when I didn't use a pattern! xDD
That reminds me, I still have something from February that I still need to take a picture of! O3o

i usually have to look at something but i couldn't for the life of me find a paint palette pattern! you totes should take a pic of your february project!

I usually think of something in my head and try to think of about 5 different ways to do it... but I still end up redoing stuff like 3 times before I like it. ^^;
